About the Authors

    Philip Legge has been involved with relationship counselling for over 20 years. The focus has been on helping people to be reconciled to God, and to each other. The Apostle's writings in the New Testament on the subject of reconciliation have been the basis for the relationship counselling. Philip has written several books, courses and articles on creating and building good relationships. The 4 Pillars of Patience, Kindness, Unselfishness and Forgiveness, are considered to be foundational in the reconciliation process.

    Lois is the youngest daughter of Philip and Mary, and she is Philip’s writing partner for ‘The VI Hours’. She has been interested in God’s program of reconciliation for many years, along with the rest of the Legge family. Lois has written several short stories and poems on that subject.

    The current writing project of Philip and Lois is Book 1 and Book 3 of the Trilogy on the life of Christians living in the first century. 

    The Legge family includes Philip and his wife Mary of over 30 years, along with their four young people, Priscilla, Elizabeth, Stephen and Lois. They work together in their family business in Southern Ontario, Canada.

One of their favorite instructions is... Ephesians 4:32-5:1-2.

“Be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you. Imitate God, therefore, in everything you do, because you are His dear children. Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ. He loved us and offered Himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to God."
